Our experts will assess and evaluate any problem you've been having with your gate and then recommend the best possible repair options. Many of their ideas are included in our popular FAQ section below. Just take a look for answers to many of today's most common gate questions.
Can I install my electric gate myself?
Technically, yes you can. You could buy ready-made gates and installation kits at certain stores or over the Internet. You would probably save on the initial costs as there won’t be any installation fees. The bad news is that you would have to fork out in the future as your new gate system probably won’t come with any warranty. However, we strongly suggest against going this route as the installation process is intense and could be dangerous, hence it should only be done by qualified professionals.
What would happen if my gate is obstructed while opening or closing?
If your gate was installed properly and professionally, this will be no problem. Your gate will immediately stop once it has made contact with the object and will then reverse. This will give you time to inspect and remove the object before allowing the gate to close. This is also a great safety feature as it greatly decreases the risk of your car being accidently damaged if your gate closes sooner that you thought it would.
